Foxtel Snubs Nose At Australian Tribunal Order

Pay TV Company FOXTEL are again in trouble for bullying behaviour. But this time, the decision to not follow a Tribunal Judge's Order and submit a defence by a set date to bullying and discrimination allegations may come back to haunt the company.

Nov. 16, 2008 - PRLog -- Documents filed by the senior Union Delegate allegedly victimised Mr Mick Kaufman, alleges systemic and deliberate discrimination and detail an extensive array of evidence to support the case. FOXTEL decided it would file a defence when it was ready and failed to fcomply with  the Victorian Conciliation and Arbitration Tribunal submission date.
Media world wide, including an independant documentary maker, are waiting to see what defences Foxtel want to present to the serious allegations. It wil lnow be an added intrigue as to how FOXTEl propose to explain the apparant snub to the Tribunal
A recent and similar case in NSW involving systemic harrassment and racial predjudice resulted in more than $1 million being awarded in the New South Wales Supreme Court.
When contacting the public affairs area of FOXTEL, our representative was told they were unaware of theKaufman case!
