Nov. 7, 2008 - PRLog -- Red Barn Technology was chosen by the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University to supply 64 High Performance Compute nodes to an existing research compute cluster. These nodes were unique in that they contained two enterprise class servers contained within a single 1U chassis which is about the size of a pizza box.

Duke University awarded Red Barn Technology group a contract to build a custom computer cluster to power a 48 display media wall. Controlled by a single master node, each of the 12 Slave nodes will power 4 independent displays. This project is a collaboration of numerous departments within Duke University. Red Barn was chosen because of their ability to meet the unique demands of the project as well as a very tight time line. The project was delivered and deployed ahead of schedule.
