E2V will be handled by CDI’s Sensing, Measurement, and Controls Division (SMAC).

As a leading independent manufacturer of gas sensors, e2v provides customers with unrivalled product reliability and personal product support.  e2v’s gas sensing products, which are built to the highest standards, include pellistor, electrochemical, infrared, thermal conductivity and semiconductor based sensors and systems.

Robert Calabrese, Senior vice president of sales, the Americas, for e2v said: “This is a great fit for both companies. Integrating CDI’s expert design services and utilising their supply channels will help market our gas sensing products.  As the gas sensor market continues to grow, this strategic partnership has the unique capability to provide technically superior products from e2v with unbeatable customer service and integration from CDI.  This in my opinion is the best of both worlds”.
