Virtual Assistance is available to small businesses.

Nov. 3, 2008 - PRLog -- Larissa Parks announces the Grand Opening and “Ribbon Cutting” of her new business,  Seven Winds Virtual Assistance, LLC, in Waldorf, Maryland.  The book, “The Four-Hour Work Week” has opened the business world’s eyes to the advantages of hiring a Virtual Assistant, and Larissa has opened her business to answer the need for experienced administrative professionals.  Virtual assistants can provide a multitude of services to entrepreneurs, business owners and other busy professionals.  Larissa’s niche is working with authors, and offers transcription services to her clients as well as calendar management, research, web site maintenance, and database development and maintenance.  The saying used to be, “if you want a job done well, do it yourself.”  But Larissa says “if you want a job done well, hire a virtual assistant.”

And her clients agree.  ChaChanna Simpson, Author of Life After College:  What Your Parents and Professors Never Taught You, loves working with Larissa.  “I am a solopreneur and am quite used to working all day, every day. Because I know if I am not working, my business is not growing. Finally, I decided that I needed help if I wanted my business to expand. Enter Larissa! Since partnering with Larissa, I have no idea how I survived without her. She has helped my business move along much faster. She jumped right in, learned about my business and I was quickly able to delegate tasks to her I had thought only I could do. And you know what? Last week, I actually took two days off to do nothing! What a relief it is to know that I have her on my team!"

When Larissa made the decision to change her world, she left her executive and administrative assistant life after 15 years, and dove into training – virtually – at AssistU  - the training authority in the field of Virtual Assistance.  Through her experience and training, she now manages her own business while assisting her clients in the day-to-day needs of their businesses.

So, why Virtual Assistance, anyway?  A Virtual Assistant can remove your anxiety over the little things that take time out of your day, but don’t generate income so that you can do just that – make more money!  A Virtual Assistant doesn’t just take orders from you or handle piecework.  She also helps you manage your time, consults with you on the important aspects of her assisting you.  She maintains a relationship with you to truly become your right-hand person, and keeps you on track to improve your business.

Larissa loves her budding business. She is now ready to take on even more fabulous clients.  While Larissa sees her business growing, her ideal client is someone who believes in long-term collaborations.  Ideally, she will work with clients who are seeking to partner with her for 20 or more hours per month.

Right now she is training to be able to provide shopping cart services to her clients.  She knows that improving and adding to her skills will add to the value of working with her for her clients.  Working with interesting people and providing valuable support really jazzes Larissa.  You can hear it in her voice when she talks about getting “lost in her work” for her clients.  She really values the work she does and the relationships she has built with her clients.

To learn more about Larissa’s Virtual Assistance business, or to answer your questions as to why you might want to partner with a Virtual Assistant, check out her website at www.sevenwindsva.com.  She would love to hear from you if you have any questions about what a Virtual Assistant really can do! Larissa is also available for interviews and speaking events.  According to Larissa, it’s all about building your business and making you more successful.
