Free Large & Wide Format Printer Samples

Oct. 27, 2008 - PRLog -- Launched earlier this month, Sample Print (www.sampleprint.co.uk) is extremely simple and easy to use service for anyone who is looking to purchase a large format printer. The site does not make sales but simply provides a sample service for the LFP industry. The site provides quick and easy access to superb images that can be selected and printed on the customers chosen printer.  The site has initially being utilised by Canon, and is displaying their entire Image PROGRAF range of large format products.  

The aim of this site is to offer potential customers high quality output delivered to their door without even having to leave their desk.  The service allows current and potential large format users the chance to make an informed decision about their new, next or replacement printer.    And as an added benefit, because the sample images are so exciting, they offer the customer something they may wish to display or hang on their wall.

The work currently featured, is from the award winning UK photographer Drew Gardner, based in London, Gardner travels regularly to the US working with big names like Sports Illustrated. He also conducts lecture tours in the US as well and has been taking photos in his chosen field for over 30 years. “Drew's images are unique and imaginative and provide wonderful contrasts of light and dark, which are excellent for showing the strength of the Canon products, says Julie Andrews of LFP Marketing, the company behind the Sample Print initiative. The images are certainly not the run of the mile print samples either, currently the site features pictures of songstress Lily Allen, Gardner’s wonderful “Nelson Falls” perfect for canvas, and the extremely creative Bridge of Doom, and Alice in Wonderland images. The CAD customer is well catered for as well, with good quality CAD & rendered images to satisfy the fine line precision detail needed.

The images are produced and dispatched by Canon’s value added large format distributor, Velmex Distribution, based in Wimbledon.  Mark Keeley Managing Director of Velmex adds, “The concept is excellent and provides our reseller base with fresh and qualified leads.
