Anahata Yoga Offers Hong Kong’s First Accredited Yoga Teacher Training

The only accredited yoga teacher training course in Asia outside of India

From December 2008, enthusiasts of yoga can take Hong Kong’s first, fully accredited Teacher Training course, offered by Anahata Yoga. Partnering with M.S. University in Chennai India, one of the first Indian universities to offer yoga teacher training in their curriculum, Anahata Yoga will provide a 200-hour Teacher Training course, the most comprehensive and authentic in Hong Kong.

The courses will be taught predominately by thoroughly trained Indian instructors, steeped in yoga’s history as well as philosophy. Another first for these courses is the fact that they are open to anyone, from yoga novices to practitioners of many years as long as they have completed the higher school certificate.

The course combines both practical and theoretical knowledge, with exams overseen by instructors direct from M.S. University. A pass mark of 40% is required on both exams before certification is awarded.

While many yoga centres in Hong Kong offer teacher training courses, Anahata Yoga’s is a cut above the others in that it offers accreditation from a respected university in India. It is the only such course of its type outside of India.

Courses will be held at convenient times for busy working people, being offered either before or after normal working hours and on weekends. Pricing is competitive and reasonable.
