Tallulah flower girl dress exclusively designed for Henry Kaye's 2009 bridesmaid collection
Exclusively designed flower girl dress in soft duchesse satin and tulle available as part of the new 2009 Henry Kaye bridesmaid dress and accessories collection.
By: Liz Whitehead
A modern take on the classic long ballerina tutu, the new Tallulah flower girl dress exudes a romantic elegance reminiscent of Edgar Degas’ famous paintings of ballet dancers from the 1870s. The dress is available in ivory or white and combines a soft duchesse satin bodice with a beautiful floaty layered tulle netting skirt and pleated tulle capped sleeve, just covering the shoulders. To finish the dress, there is a sash to tie around the waist which comes in a choice of 3 styles and 10 colours to co-ordinate with any wedding theme from a rich ruby red shimmery Caviar Sash for a winter wedding to a pretty pastel coloured satin bow for spring. A ballet pump is an ideal choice of shoe to go with the Tallulah dress and Henry Kaye offers pretty satin ballet slippers in ivory or white to match the dress or, if a coloured sash has been chosen, flat satin pumps which can be dyed to match the sash.
Sharon Gavin, Managing Director of Henry Kaye explains the thoughts behind the design of the new dress: “Inside most little girls there’s a budding ballerina waiting to get on stage and we’ve designed the Tallulah flower girl dress just for them. Dreamy and floaty, they’ll be dancing on air throughout the special occasion in their delightful bridesmaid dresses and ballet pumps.”
The Tallulah flower girl dress, available exclusively from Henry Kaye in sizes to fit babies and toddlers through to 9 year olds can be ordered online at www.henrykaye.co.uk now ready for delivery in January 2009.
