Belmont Park deploys 50 Camera IP Video Surveillance System

Oct. 10, 2008 - PRLog -- Belmont Park is a popular entertainment attraction located in Mission Beach, CA, featuring the
historic Giant Dipper roller coaster and Plunge swimming pool, amusement rides, artificial wave attractions, live music, multiple food outlets, retail shops and a beach-style atmosphere. The high volumes of foot traffic and many attractions in the park required a sophisticated surveillance system to ensure public safety and security, simultaneously and efficiently serving multiple departmental uses.

GigaKOM, a full service information technology provider, worked with the Belmont Park team to deploy an IP Video Surveillance solution to meet those surveillance needs.

Deploying Axis 211 and 209 POE network cameras, Milestone Systems XProtect Video Surveillance Software and a combination of fiber optic and wireless bridging interconnects; GigaKOM designed the infrastructure to provide high quality imagery and accessibility, with no bandwidth impact to the existing LAN.
