FITCOR introduces more products, new design for its Hagibis brand

Fleur-de-lis Int’l. Trading Corp. (FITCOR) introduces a new product with an entirely new look to replace its Hagibis brand of LPG tricycles.

Oct. 2, 2008 - PRLog -- The company’s major move is in response to the adverse effects of the US economic melt-down to international trading, particularly on imports

The peso-dollar exchange rates exceeded the P47 mark during the past few weeks making it difficult for Filipino importers to maintain previous price offers. This increased the price FITCOR’s original line of Hagibis tricycle, making it no longer viable to be considered as an affordable option for tricycle drivers and operators.

FITCOR has an existing MOA with the Office of Transport Cooperative to provide brand new LPG-powered units at socialized prices, and help replace the prevailing two stroke tricycles with environment-friendly models. After thorough consultation with stakeholders and leaders of the various tricycle operators and drivers associations, FITCOR came up with new design options that are available at competitive prices. The government is pushing for the conversion of the existing tricycles to use LPG fuel.

“Clean Air compliant and alternative fuel powered vehicles can help business increase profits by cutting costs. This will help families save on gas and stretch their budgets. This will help jeepney and taxi drivers increase their incomes, help stabilize fare rates and favorably affect the prices of prime commodities,” FITCOR’s lady president Salvie Einosas said. “To ensure quality and customer satisfaction, FITCOR buys products directly from selected manufacturers at low prices,” Einosas added.

Aside from the Hagibis, FITCOR has added its Sparrow, Road Runner and Big Bird models. Their new roomy designs are a total departure from the popular side car tricycles, providing more comfort and safety to passengers. The new Hagibis design is a cross-breed between the tricycle and the jeepney and can carry more passengers comfortably.

With more models to choose from at affordable prices, FITCOR is confident it can live up to its commitment to help improve the public transport sector by helping them avail of modern, economical and environment-friendly vehicles. These products can be viewed by visiting www.fitmark.com.ph.

The marketing and distribution of FITCOR products is handled by FITCOR Marketing (FITMARK) through franchised outlets in various parts of the country. This ensures after sales service and availability of spare parts. FITMARK offers financing windows to buyers in selected areas at the moment. It welcomes those who are interested to operate franchised outlets in their areas.
