Star Wars Legend Free To Good Home!

Chewwy, as he is affectionately known to his temporary guardians at Wonderland Party, is a full size, adult costume complete with face mask, fangs, leather paws and Bowcaster. The towering Wookiee will be taking a break from his co-piloting duties in the Star Wars films to help one fancy dress fan to raise funds for their worthy cause as soon as a new home is found.

The best way we could think of to make a contribution is to stick to what we know best- costumes and fancy dress outfits. The Chewbacca costume has a retail value of £423 so would make a wonderful addition to any charity’s fund raising efforts.”

Organisations planning to hold a charity event can apply to re-home the character by telling the fancy dress web site what their event is, who the event is for and how the Star Wars costume would help.

Made by specialist costumiers in the USA and imported by Wonderland specifically to re-home, the costume’s bodysuit is completely covered with hand-sewn multi-coloured, long haired fur. The latex mask, hands and feet are also covered with long haired fur while the latex bandolier is complete with a functional pouch.

One of the best loved of the Star Wars characters, Wonderland Party also offers a smaller version of the Chewbacca costume for sale. The ‘Free To A Good Home’ programme is the first in a series of charity events planned by the fancy dress firm.
