Sept. 26, 2008 - PRLog -- AMARILLO, Texas – Wingstop, awarded Best Overall Company 2008 by the American Business Awards, has landed in the city of Amarillo.  Audra Currie of Currie Wings, LTD just opened a second location at 3300 E. Interstate 40, Ste. 900. Her first location was awarded ‘Best Chicken’ in Amarillo 2008.

The store is open from 11 a.m. to midnight daily.  To contact the new Wingstop or to place take out orders, call 806-331-Wing (9464).

“We’re so happy to be open on the East side of Amarillo. We look forward to serving the wing fans in the community,” said Currie.  “Wingstop Amarillo wants to thank the Texas Panhandle for supporting our 45th & Bell Location, giving us the opportunity to open a second location.”

Wingstop’s signature bone-in chicken wings and boneless wing strips are prepared fresh and are available in nine proprietary flavors.  Both types of wings are made-to-order and there are no heat lamps, microwaves or holding bins in the store.  Side dishes are made from scratch and prepared daily in each location.  Party platters are available for catered events such as office parties, family gatherings and sporting events.

“Wingstops have incredible wings and we look forward to everyone coming out with their families for an enjoyable ‘Wingstop’ dine-in experience,” said Currie.

The wings are always made-to-order and served steaming hot. Customers can also choose from homemade side dishes including fresh-cut seasoned fries, bourbon baked beans, potato salad, creamy cole slaw, vegetable sticks, rolls and assorted dipping sauces.

Wingstop has more than 600 restaurants either open or under development in 32 states and consistently tops industry growth rankings.
