United Automobile Insurance Group Moves Headquarters

Property and Casualty Insurance Provider Relocates to Miami Gardens

Sept. 22, 2008 - PRLog -- MIAMI GARDENS, FL-United Automobile Insurance Group (UAIG), a privately held property and casualty insurer, has relocated its headquarters and 750 employees to the former PRC building, located at 1313 NW 167th Street in Miami Gardens, right off the Palmetto Expressway. The company was previously located in North Miami Beach with other satellite offices in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

“We’re excited about our move to Miami Gardens,” said Richard Parrillo Sr., chairman and CEO of the company.  “It is a great facility and more conveniently located for most of our employees.”

The building has been completely renovated and contains new furniture, office equipment and will now feature a state-of-the-art “paperless office” document management system.

This move consolidates all of UAIG’s South Florida offices into one facility that can accommodate up to 1000 employees.  The building contains many safety amenities, including hurricane-resistant windows and a full-building diesel generator back-up system.

“We’re looking forward to becoming as active in our new community,” added Parrillo.

UAIG has already begun its involvement on a civic level; the company has recently sponsored a community jazz concert, The Jazz in the Gardens, and the Second Annual “Miss Miami Gardens” scholarship pageant.
