Xlibris Release Awakens Drug Addicts and Alcoholics

One man courageously shares his story of success and inspiration, as he battled with drug abuse and alcoholism, in the book Incomprehensible Demoralization.

Sept. 21, 2008 - PRLog -- Life is about choices, not necessarily easy ones, but choices nonetheless. During one ill-fated arrest, Jared Combs made a choice that would forever change his life for the better, which also resulted in his self-published book, Incomprehensible Demoralization.

Like waking up from a horrible nightmare, Combs decided to put an end to his self-destructive nature by asking the Higher Being for strength and guidance. He stresses that “Hope is powerful” and that nothing is beyond reach even if one is at the lowest point in their lives.

Despite the distressing theme, Combs managed to bring a light-hearted atmosphere to Incomprehensible Demoralization as he incorporates a touch of humor to the retelling of his life. Still, a box of tissue would not hurt once you open this Xlibris book as its heart wrenching moments will surely squeeze a few teardrops, even from the most cynic of hearts.

The road to recovery for addicts and alcoholics alike is not pretty and oftentimes not triumphant. Combs imparts that the first step to that path is acceptance of the "incomprehensible demoralization” that has consumed the person.

Incomprehensible Demoralization  is not only for addicts who will soon discover the incontestable power of faith, but also for the families of addicts who will also realize that love transcends all boundaries.
