Chocolate Story, A Store That Offers

Sept. 19, 2008 - PRLog -- The chocolate story started when a young girl of only 17 years of age, Nikita Malhotra took up various courses in chocolate making. She eventually started making chocolates at home and selling them to her friends and family.


She was highly appreciated by everyone that encouraged her further to start the store called Chocolate Story, located at Kalyani Nagar.

Chocolate Story serves a variety of chocolates in different flavours ranging from Dutch truffles,Rum &Raisin, Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate and many more.

Besides, one of the USP of the store is the concept of the chocolate bouquet; like we have the flower bouquet the store offers the chocolate bouquet where instead of flowers there are different chocolates. In addition there is the three feet chocolate fountain which is on during the weekends.

The chocolates start off from a minimum price of Rs 70/- per 100gm and the chocolate bouquets start from Rs. 225/-. Although most of the chocolates and bouquets are available at the counter they are also made to order a day in advance or depending on the quantity of the order. None of the chocolates need refrigeration and have a shelf life of 6 months. They only require refrigeration during the summers.

Nikita Malhotra, founder Chocolate Story commented, "I started making chocolates a year back and now have started this store which is only two months old. I have been getting a terrific response and wish to go international with my culinary skills. My ultimate aim is to start a place that has a concept of 80 desserts around the world".

She further added, "with regards to the store we will continue to have something different everytime, for instance during the festival of Diwali we plan to introduce chocolate crackers".

Furthermore, the store not only serves chocolates but also their famous Chocolate Walnut Fudge, a variety of Ice-creams like Mocha Almond, Chocolate and Malai Kulfi. The store has a small baking unit which serves cakes, pastries, mousses and other exotic cakes.
