Private Chef Michael Saxer to Sign Books at Panhandler’s Grand Opening

Chef Saxer created Cooking with a Private:  New Orleans to NewportChef to honor the rich and inspiring food cultures from both of these distinguished cities. This elegant and modern book features imaginative recipes that call for fresh local ingredients from both regions. Moreover, the gourmet recipes are broken down into module systems so that an amateur or well-seasoned cook can recreate them.

Noteworthy recipes that offer a taste of Rhode Island include Mussel Soup with Grilled Sourdough, Lobster-Stuffed Eggs, Roasted Cornish Game Hens with Corn-Tomato Couscous and Beet Vinaigrette, and Lemoncillo Panna Cotta with Blueberry Gelée.

Chef Saxer will meet guests, sell and sign copies of Cooking with a Private Chef from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. as part of the Pan Handler’s Grand Opening Celebration.
