Hendrick Chevrolet Has E85-Flexible Chevrolet Models in Stock near Raleigh.

Sept. 8, 2008 - PRLog -- This fuel, 85% of which is ethanol and only 15% gasoline, is considered a pragmatic alternative to dependence on gasoline. This is because Ethanol, which comprises the major part of this fuel, is made out of corn, which is grown in the US easily and in huge quantities. The other advantage this fuel offers is that it is mostly renewable.

For 2008, Chevrolet has released a dozen different models that come with E85- flexible engines. General Motors’ goal is to have half of all its annual vehicle production E85 or bio-diesel capable by 2012.

General Motors says that it is ahead of its competitors in coming out with vehicles with alternative fuels. At this point of time, it has over two million flex-fuel vehicles on the roads.

Hendrick Chevrolet also has in stock another fuel-saving model, the 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe. This comes with a hybrid engine. Working on a propulsion system, this can run on either engine power, electric power or a combination of the two. This engine is said to reduce gasoline consumption by up to 50%.
