Sept. 4, 2008 - PRLog -- August 7th, 2008, was certainly an evening of young, emerging talent. New designer, Ben Parsa, took a leap of faith in producing his own fashion show to highlight now, what is his 2nd collection, of deconstructed, dyed, washed, and embellished by hand, fine couture t-shirt line. This uniquely detailed, soft and stylish collection is created “only” once. After both the men’s and women’s collection are presented, it will not be duplicated. Now, before you think, overbearing, younger something approach to a t-shirt- think again! These trendy, yet eye grabbing collectives were first introduced back in December of 2007 at the UR SuperModels agency launch fashion show. Even from the start, they had a look that know one had yet captured, and many guests had to have this creative fit, and purchased their Parsa Atelier shirts that evening, before their selection was no longer available. There were not anyone’s large graphics of skulls, or some designer’s name splattered across the front, or even had an age cutoff appeal. They were just simple, fashionable, and different- “not the same off the rack,” one guest mentioned. The models showed how you could actually pair the garments with dress slacks, suit jackets, hot jeans, or for ladies a mini, or funky hat and leggings.

The new Club Royale was venue to the Parsa Atelier Fashion show this evening, and fashionistas patiently awaited the new collection which has now added women’s dresses, sweaters, and various cuts to accommodate different shapes of different women. The style has even gotten a little nostalgic, with select impressions of history dames like Marilyn Monroe. The men’s collection was improved by adding V-Neck, Argyle, and still the traditional t-cut fits. Aside from Parsa, the show featured up and coming designers, Bukowski Collection, and Soledad Designs, with once again, models courtesy of UR SuperModels.

But, there was an exceptional twist to this event! 100% of the $10 donation was donated to “Imerman Angels,” a one on one cancer organization designed to help patients support previous patients with their illness.

Shortly after the quick sell out that led to Akira Stores carrying Parsa’s 1st collection, this young 20 something designer who took a risk as a server in local restaurants to follow his passion of being a designer, had a very quick opportunity to enjoy his new success. Immediately after feeling a step closer to his dream, Ben was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Just a few short months of treatment, and still designing from his North Western hospital bed during chemotherapy, Ben fought with a bigger and better 2nd collection. With plenty of time to surf the web, Ben stumbled across, “Imerman Angels,” and immediately thought how amazing it would be in full remission to host an event to benefit others like himself, who need the support to get thru the fight of cancer so they too, can move on living out their dreams.

Founder, Johnny Imerman, was MC of of the Parsa Atelier fashion a few week ago, and now fashion and “just” cause are friends for life! Not only can you find Parsa Atelier at Parsa Atelier.com but they are now sold in Londo Mondo.  Seeing the desired, washed out images on the flat screens of Club Royale, sexy images captured by Dyrti Martini of Fire Up Group, and sassy models sell this line, on the L-Shaped black runway, all to fully benefit those in the near future was a fun and sincere outcome, with a remarkable turn out. Today, Ben continues to build his legacy and has even assisted with opening and running, Aperitif 21, a neighborhood, but sleek and sexy restaurant in Lincoln Park. A little birdie whispered, look for a couple subsidiary lines of Parsa Atelier very soon-

Luckily, Ben had the help of family and friends for mental support, but what about those who don’t?
