The Dulux Paint Pod - painting new ground

You’ll never need a roller and box again!
By: Smoop UK
Sept. 3, 2008 - PRLog -- Smoop, the social shopping website, has partnered with Dulux to list their new Dulux Paint Pod product.

Dulux realised that the main complaint about roller brushing walls is that you have to clean the brushes afterwards, which is messy and time consuming.   The paint pod creators thus created a simple unit which pumps the paint to the attachable brush, and lets you replace everything back in the pod to do a self cleaning cycle after you are finished.

There are been some early paint pod reviews such as from Stuff magazine which said “it slashes painting time dramatically with no splatter and a great self-cleaning system.  Only downside is that it uses costly PaintPod paint pots”.

Jane Tilets from DiyForums said “while not a real necessity in any DIY work that needs doing, it makes things a lot more fun and saves a mountain of hassle”.

Starting from August 2008, the dulux paint pod will get it’s own page on the Smoop website with details, comments, and reviews, and will later follow with a customised microsite showcasing a wide range of videos and blog posts covering the product.  As always, people will be able to link their blog posts to the articles, share it with other users, and even edit the description to make it more accurate.
