Hollywood, California   Film director Harold B. Pritchett has shocked the established industry giants by inserting Salvia as the center topic of his action packed movie Beachwood Drive.  Legally used by millions of young people and sold over the counter in 46 states, Salvia induces a more powerful LSD “trip”.  Beachwood Drive reveals the problems facing society when a legal drug, as powerful as Salvia, goes unchecked.

This action packed drama reveals the experience young people have when legally using Salvia.
This is a real drug!!

Thousands of America’s young people are experimenting with the most powerful psychoactive herb known - which can induce strong dissociative effects. The drug known as Salvia (Salvia divinorum) is sold over the counter in head shops across the country and on the internet.

“Beachwood Drive” started as an internet series that went viral and is now seen in over 36 countries and has over 52,000 links to the popular scenes showing people “tripping” on Salvia.

The movie is about a man planning to make a fast buck by trying to distribute Salvia in a sports drink before it becomes illegal.  Two female private investigators discover a plan to make a sports drink using salvia as an ingredient.

Pritchett got the idea by watching thousands of YouTube videos in which people are seen videotaping their friends under the influence of Salvia.  “I saw people running, ducking, talking to images and handling objects that were not there.” Pritchett said.  So I wrote a story titled “Beachwood Drive” starting shooting and posting scenes on the internet.

Pritchett used Hollywood actors Teresa Noreen and April Archer as the stars of “Beachwood Drive”.  He also created tons graphics to reproduce the effects written about by Salvia users.  The experiences ranging from uncontrollable laughter to much more intense and profoundly altered states can be seen in his footage.  This drug blocks signals from the conscious mind to other parts of the brain and once the user’s senses are limited they begin to experience hallucinations, and dreamlike states of mind which may resemble psychedelic mindstates.  Salvia is more powerful than LSD.

“Beachwood Drive” is an informative action drama shot on the back streets of Hollywood.  It is a must see for parents and people who want to see just how out of control a legal drug can become.
