Aug. 21, 2008 - PRLog -- Would really appreciate some advice on how best to manage my savings & finances generally. I am 27 and need to save a deposit for a house. I have no debts. I have £4k at the moment to invest, whihc is not earning any interest in my currrent account at present. £3600 of this I woul dlike to put into an ISA, but not sure which one would be the best. Furthermore, I am able to save £500 a month and do anticipate needing to touch this money at the present time. Would it be better to put this into 1 savings account each month, or to put it into more than one? I am yet to start a pension so some advice on that would be good too.

What are the best sort of saving accounts/interest rates out there at the moment. I am willing to move my current account from who I bank with at the moment and have thought about possibly moving to the A&L.

My ISA from last yr is with national Savings, but the rate is not that compentitive, would it be worth moving it to another provider.
