Aug. 18, 2008 - PRLog -- New business struggle to get going especially where there is a competitor who has been established a lot longer and well known.

"I have decided that I will donate £1,200 of my fees to the local hospice 'St Raphael's in Cheam Surrey for the first two funerals carried out."

The cost of my service is low, but never reflecting in service levels. I aim to serve the community well, and with dignity. I am willing to donate £1,200 total of my fees for the first two funerals I carry out (£600 per funeral) to the local hospice who are not government funded, and from then on I will donate £50 per funeral I conduct to a charity of the relatives choice.

I will also be charging items such as coffins( fully finished ) from £140 and the cost of horse drawn carriages at cost price £630.This is also included in the first two funerals (meaning that the relatives can have the horse drawn carriage for the fee of £630 plus £1860) which is still less than what any funeral director will charge.

An estimate for the cost of my complete services including, the coffin, one hearse, one limousine, cremation (based on cremation at North East Surrey Crematorium) and other disburments for approximately £1860.

I am a funeral director, who charges a low set fee of £850 for arranging the funeral, provision of chapel of rest with another funeral director in my area. The rest of the services are provided at cost price, so no nasty shocks with high priced coffins.
