Aug. 18, 2008 - PRLog -- New York,  – As the little engine that could, The Novel Shoppe.com is in a huge competitive market of online bookstores. However with the I think I can attitude of the little engine that could, The Novel Shoppe knows it has potential to win over the market. And raise $20,000 for a worthy cause in doing so.

When we think of an online bookstore we’re often lead to big name brands that have made their mark in a dominating segment. Often times leaving the little guys with little room to be patronized to survive. And as over saturated as the playing field becomes, the less room there is for new comers like The Novel Shoppe.com to become a major factor. But with the sheer will and determination like the little engine that could, The Novel Shoppe.com is looking to break the mold and capture a piece of the online bookstore action. However with the competition fierce and already in position, making a mark in the minds of consumers will be just as tough as the little engine that could climbing the mountain.

However, in spite of the competition, The Novel Shoppe.com has a mere willpower unlike many new comers online. Not only to make a mark in the domineering online bookstore market, but is more determine to aid in a worthy cause. With its first annual Novel Shoppe Book Drive scheduled August – October, The Novel Shoppe look to raise $20,000 to support the Smith and Lawrence family in creating a memorial brick walkway in loving memory of their beloved Mylia Smith, adjacent to the playground of Camp Sunshine in Atlanta.

Through out her sixteen years of living, Mylia touched the hearts of many friends and family members with her smile, and now the family would like to leave her legacy behind at Camp Sunshine; a place that has touched the life of many children battling cancer. Camp Sunshine is a non-profit organization that provides programs throughout the year for children with cancer and is building a brick walkway adjacent to the Camp Sunshine House.

With The Novel Shoppe.com taking strive to get into position and become a household name in the online bookstore market, its overall objective is to sell enough books during the Novel Shoppe Book Drive to assist with the building of the Mylia Smith memorial brick walkway at Camp Sunshine in Atlanta, and are asking book lovers and reading enthusiasts to stop by The Novel Shoppe.com and purchase a book or two.
