Follow on Google News | The Advanced Learning Academy Moves to New Digs in the Red Rock DesertThis Academy is designed to to be a medium to promote an interest in Deep Space Exploration and Colonization, and to develop new ideas and concepts.
By: Rick Smith The Advanced Learning Academy features up to date, informative and professional Classes, Seminars, and Events. With a unique and varied curriculum that offer courses in such topics as Renewable Energy Technologies, Holistic Health and Lifestyle, Advanced Alternative Sciences. The Advanced Learning Academy has begun work on it's new Desert Research Annex which will include it's Deep Space exploration habitat project, (RRDARS), the oriental inspired "Zen City" an Oasis of Teahouses and open-air practice spaces, and "Roma", a Greek inspired village of small private villas surrounding a lake, The first phase is expected to come online in Summer 2009. The Winter/Spring Semester will begin with 10 Master Series Classes. At the "Red Rock Desert Analog Research Station" (RRDARS), we will feature hands-on courses in everything from Equipment Deployment Strategies, too Shuttlecraft Flight Training. The program's "All Access Pass" will include; interactive training seminars, GPS Cache-ing Missions, access to the "Team Based Tactical Simulation" (TBT Sim), an Indoor Hybrid Laser/Paintball Arena team building exercise. You and your team can train for a successful Atom Splitting Experiment in the "Hybrid Interactive Team Simulator" (HIT Sim). If selected for a tour of duty on the Deep Space Simulation, you can serve on the bridge crew in some capacity, or maybe something in Engineering, or Medicine is more your style, and you would rather serve in Sick Bay, or prehaps Calibrating the Engine Matrix in Engineering. Use off-road vehicles during Away Missions, Pilot Shuttles and Fighters in linked motion-platform based Flight-Sims. The Main Entrance will be a glass Pavilion with Two Pyramid-shaped Pavilions on either side. Throughout the facility a wide variety of vendors will sell merchandise, and demonstrate currently available, and future products. The Advanced Learning Academy, will be built on the newly aquired panoramic 40 acre Red Rock site, located north of Cantil, California,on Red Rock Rd, with plans well underway 2009 will give us plenty of time to shake out the bugs for the up and coming 4th ANNUAL INTERGALACTIC AWAY MISSION EXPO & SYMPOSIUM 2009.
