Starting Over A Manual for Living After The Loss of Your Spouse offers individual personalized help
This program is for widows, widowers, and divorcees who are looking for a safe; understanding way to figure out how to live, move forward and in what direction to go.
“The fear of asking for help from family and friends is a common issue that can be solved easily by working with someone; such as a coach, who will not judge your skill level” stated Marie O’Neill. “I talk with so many people who are afraid to admit that they don’t know how to do something because their spouse always handled it. These fears are genuine and hard to understand for someone who has not experienced this kind of loss.”
Marie has developed the Starting Over Manual, as a program to help new singles heal and release old belief systems, learn to take care of basic living needs and rid yourself of the fear of socializing and eating out on your own. People who use the program are able to learn to handle their own bookkeeping, check writing, balancing bank statements, cooking for one, and getting organized in the kitchen, home and life.
The Manual is setup in a 12-session format that is organized so that you can go at your own pace. Participants can take as much or as little time as they need to go through each session of the program. There is no one looking over your shoulder telling you to go faster or slow down.
Susan Lewis said, “If looking for guidance, would you seek to find someone who has never stepped out and onto the path? Marie is one who walks her truth… I found solace in the home-fire of Marie’s warmth, generosity of spirit, and laughter.”
"There is a period of mind-numbing grief after losing a spouse, but no respite from life's demands . . . Marie's experience in business makes her uncommonly qualified to navigate the financial practicalities of life. Her training and personal experience as a young widow make her a compassionate and empathetic counselor”, explained K. McKillip.
When asked about her own journey after the loss of her husband, Marie explained, “An assessment of your life’s journey is just a road map to this point in time. It gives you clues about what you may or may not want for yourself in the future. To truly know the person you want to become requires objective contemplation. In the end, it all comes down to the desire to be happy, which requires being whole.”
