A Good Fish Story Isn't Hard To Find

New Publication Offers Home For Outdoor And Sporting Stories

Aug. 5, 2008 - PRLog -- In a world full of recycled, how-to where-to articles a fresh new voice has emerged.  The Cedar Sweeper, an outdoor reader dedicated to stories of outdoor adventure, has launched its first issue in print.  Everybody loves a good fish story and within the pages of the Dearborn Heights, Michigan publication good ones can surely be found.  The Cedar Sweeper, spurred from the recesses of the web into publication by stories from authors like Jerry Dennis, Mike Delp, and Robert Rutherford, is sure to find a place in the fly vest pockets and cabin coffee tables of many outdoors people.

“There are many publications that cover the how-to where-to of the outdoors.  However, there are very few that tell the story of the adventure; the story of the people, places, and circumstances surrounding the outdoors,” said Charles Sams the publisher and editor of The Cedar Sweeper.

The Cedar Sweeper promises to couple fine outdoor photography with stories from today’s most respected names in outdoor storytelling.

“It’ll be something that you will want to keep around long after the stories have been read; if for nothing more than to be able to pick it up and see a beautiful photo that will take you back to the streamside or duck blind,” said Chris Therssen an avid fisherman.
