Colin Panetta Releases Comic Book

July 26, 2008 - PRLog -- Colin Panetta, the creator of the online comic strip, X-Heroes, just recently published his first hard copy comic book, Dead Man Holiday.  A free copy of Dead Man Holiday #-3 is also available for download at DriveThruComics.com.

From his interview at Planet Comic Book Radio, Colin describes his latest work as a "haunted science fiction", and talks about his early inspirations such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the post-apocalyptic classic, Mad Max.  In Dead Man Holiday,  we follow Thad Planck, a sort of paranormal security guard, as he encounters a bizarrely-dressed, ghostly skeleton in a flooded and abandoned area of a future city he is assigned to patrol.

Mr. Panetta also discussed the early influences that drove him to a career in comic books.  Additionally, he also talks about his art technique including his preference for naturalistic hand drawing over computer-generated art.  Colin Panetta's interview at Planet Comic Book Radio can also be directly downloaded as podcast from iTunes.
