Western Oklahoma State College Adds Hyde To Their Basketball Program

Charlotte guard to join program in Fall 2008

July 22, 2008 - PRLog -- Charlotte, NC-Western Oklahoma State College men's basketball coach Rolando De La Barrera has announced the addition of Jayson Hyde to the Pioneers program.

Hyde, a 6'4, 205-pounds guard from Charlotte, NC has accepted admission to Western Oklahoma and will join the program in the Fall 2008.  Hyde averaged 10 points and six assists per game as a senior for Coach Tony Taylor at Queen City Prep in Charlotte, NC.

"Jayson Hyde is physical; he is athletic; and he can shoot the ball.  He doesn't play one position, he can play all perimeter positions.  We are excited that he will be joining T.J. Foster at Western Oklahoma State College in Altus, OK," stated Coach Tony Taylor of Queen City Prep.

Queen City Prep Basketball is a non-profit organization that provides a high school basketball program for young men in grades 9 through 12 and a one-year residential post-graduate basketball program for young men that have completed high school.
