PHILADELPHIA, PA – JULY 17, 2008 - A new website has been introduced to allow customers of ClickaTell to discuss any problems they have experienced with service, billing, or communications with the SMS provider. Clickatellsucks.com was launched in July 2008 by Bruce Stenberg to give dissatisfied customers a community in which to share information. "Whatever you do," said Bruce Stenberg, "If you're in the market for an SMS aggregator to handle your short code or text messages services, stay clear of ClickaTell." Bruce Stenberg decided to launch Clickatellsucks.com after a frustrating experience with the company. "I've gotten double billed and now I'm being told that they made an error in pricing. Come on," he states. "This isn't Microsoft managing the pricing structures of various business units, software, service etc for 100,000+ different types of things. This is ClickaTell. They sell message units - a setup Fee, monthly fee and a short code rental fee which really should be a pass-through fee." Bruce Stenberg found the service with ClickaTell so lacking that he knew there must be many more customers who were similarly dissatisfied. Stenberg believes this is a unique and valuable service to bring ClickaTell customers together in a single forum to discuss strategies for resolving service issues with the provider. The site will be heavily promoted in technical forums, lists and SMS discussion groups and estimated usage is expected to be high.
