Birlasoft to build on momentum with new CEO appointment

July 10, 2008 - PRLog -- Noida: Birlasoft today announced that Mr. J Ramachandran (Ram) has taken over as the Chief Executive Officer of Birlasoft.

Ram joined Birlasoft in July 2006 and was currently serving as its Chief Delivery Officer. Prior to joining Birlasoft, Ram had been with IBM Global Services for 11 years. Ram, with over 20 years of industry experience, has a proven track record in the complete lifecycle of IT outsourcing and has led large value initiatives spanning multifarious industry verticals. He holds a masters degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

Ram took over the duties today (07 July, 2008) from Mr. Kamal Mansharamani, the outgoing CEO.
