Award Winning Country Singer Katy Benko to Appear on Internet Radio Show

July 7, 2008 - PRLog -- A mere three months after Katy Benko married her high school / college sweetheart, Ryan, he was activated and sent to Fort Dix for training before being deployed to Iraq.  Shortly after Ryan left, Katy wrote “A Soldier’s Wife”.  The song  describes the feelings and hardships a wife goes through while her husband is overseas. Written from the standpoint of the wife to the husband, the song describes how hard it is to be alone, but that even through the distance her love and pride continue to grow stronger everyday.

On Tuesday, July 8, 2008, Katy will be joining radio hosts Wyatt McIntyre and Matthew Cochran on Patriot Action Live to discuss her music career and the song "A Soldier's Wife", as well as Katy's entry in a contest hosted by Music Nation.
