This year's event hosted by the Bronx Caribbean festival, promises to be an unforgettable experience, which includes some of the greatest in the Caribbean genres of calypso and soca.

The Mighty Sparrow, the unrivaled Calypso King of The World, .with a career that spans over 50 years and counting, has entertained audiences across the globe. "The Birdie" will be performing many of the hits for which he is famous in his own style.

King Short Shirt of Antigua & Barbuda, also known as Brother Emanuel, or the Musical Ambassador of Antigua & Barbuda.  King Short Shirt, the self taught calypsonian, has been performing for over 30 years, with an unprecedented 16 calypso crowns makes him one for the ages.

King Swallow, the People's King of soca music, is known to have made soca what it is today, he is seen as the "Soca King of the world".  Swallow won the Triple Crown in Antigua in the 70's and has continued to make music through the years. "Don't Stop This Party" and "Subway Jam." are only a few of King Swallow's hits.

Lord Nelson started out playing in a steelband, became influenced by the Mighty Sparrow and Mighty Duke in 1963 and has been singing ever since.  Now in his 70's Nelson or "Nello" as he is known, has not slowed down.  From the "Garrot Bounce", "Disco Daddy", "Meh Lover", "We Like It" and "La La", Lord Nelson in his colorful jumpsuits and matching hats and shoes never fails to entertain

Sharing the stage that evening will be Michael "Sparkey" Drakes, Kent, Sudden Surge & Shermain Jeremy, Antigua & Barbuda's best talent in the 2005 Miss World Competition.
