July 3, 2008 - PRLog -- The website, theexpiredmeter.com, http://theexpiredmeter.com/?p=322#respond, has awarded it's Expired Meter Hero of the Month Award to Chicago criminal attorney James Dimeas.  Attorney James Dimeas was able to have a red light traffic ticket, which was recorded by a camera at an intersection, dismissed because the Village of Rolling Meadows ordinance was violated when the hearing was held beyond the time allowed for in the Village's own ordinance.  Attorney James Dimeas's victory exposed a serious flaw in the Villages ordinance which will either require that it be rewritten or the Village completely amend it's procedures so that they can comply with the time limits in their own ordinance.
