June 17, 2008 - PRLog -- Women’s Health Magazine has announced its selected “100 Most Useful Sites on the Web.”  Amongst countless links to travel, entertainment, and beauty websites is a link seemingly outside the norm.

Designed to help keep seating charts easy, SimpleSeating.com is a practical approach to planning a seating arrangement. Once signed up, the user may select from the free membership (1 event with up to 50 guests), the basic membership ($19.95, 2 events with up to 350 guests each), the plus membership ($44.95, 5 events with up to 350 guests each), or a pro account, which requires a quote for more than 5 events.

Creating a seating chart using SimpleSeating.com is quick and extremely straightforward. After entering the guest names and meal preference (which can be uploaded from an existing document), the user simply clicks and drags the guest to the desired table. When finished, a quick print button helps deliver the chart straight into the user’s hands.

SimpleSeating.com is the brainchild of web developer Steve Swedler. "Our goal," says Swedler, "was to take a traditionally offline activity and make it better by taking advantage of modern technology (and by) making it sharable, portable, and easier to control quality."

Swedler created SimpleSeating.com in 2006 and has recently joined forces with the Gangplank Business Incubator (www.gangplankhq.com) to extend the reach and capabilities of the software.
