Dr. Brooke Belcher Joins Barrington Orthopedic Specialists

June 12, 2008 - PRLog -- Barrington Orthopedic Specialists is proud to welcome Brooke A. Belcher, M.D. Dr. Belcher is a physiatrist who is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation. She specializes in Non-Surgical Treatment of Spine and Musculoskeletal Injuries,  Diagnostic/Therapeutic Spine Procedures and Electrodiagnostics such as EMG and NCS.

Physiatrists are nerve, muscle, and bone experts who treat injuries or illnesses that affect  how people move. She has completed training in the medical specialty physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R). She attended Wayne State University School of Medicine, completed her residency at The Ohio State University, and completed an Interventional Spine, Sports, and Pain Fellowship at Lags Spine and Sportscare in Santa Maria, California. Dr. Belcher treats a wide range of problems from sore shoulders to spinal cord injuries. Her goal is to decrease pain and enhance
performance without surgery.
