The new MIJETLite™ is based on Starling’s proven flat panel technology which enables data transmission and reception at true broadband bit rates via an extremely low profile and lightweight antenna.
The state of the art antenna system will provide aircrafts with a compact size, lightweight, high performance Ku band antenna system at a competitive price, opening up the airborne broadband market for in flight entertainment and communications and cockpit applications.
Air travelers will be able for the first time to enjoy boundless applications across all travel routes: unlimited Internet connectivity, to send and receive e-mails, watch Live TV, to use their own mobile phones and personal mobile devices during flight, video conferencing, instant messaging and various entertainment applications, including video-on-demand, online gaming and multimedia applications.

The new antenna will provide full global coverage, will be very easy to install, and will be suitable for any wide body and narrow body aircrafts.

Starling will present the MIJETLite™ antenna system at the Orbit Booth as part of its display, the new antenna system marks a joint effort of a technological cooperation between Starling and Orbit, to deliver broadband satellite communication capabilities onboard all size of commercial aircraft, both for cockpit and passenger applications.
