June 9, 2008 - PRLog -- Tanyard Hollow Retreat Center, a nonprofit center newly established in the lovely rural area of Perry County, Tennessee, is now open. Instructors and students of meditation, yoga, Tai chi, and other spiritual practices can hold workshops in comfort and convenience on a private 58-acre property and enjoy the captivating beauty of walking trails, a waterfall, and Sinking Creek. Tanyard Hollow Retreat Center, between Hohenwald and Linden, Tennessee, also offers an ideal environment for personal retreats.

Depending on the specified needs, interested parties can reserve as many as three newly restored and refurbished buildings: Tanyard Hall, the Bungalow, and Creekside. Together these three facilities house up to 30 guests. In addition, Tanyard Hall features a light-filled meeting room that comfortably accommodates 80 people. Designed and constructed in accordance with environmentally responsible guidelines, Tanyard Hall has a large dining area, a commercial kitchen, and a covered deck. Lodging for as many as nine guests is available on the second floor.

Bed linens and towels are provided in all three buildings. Delicious, healthful meal options, prepared by professional cooks, are also available; and each building has laundry facilities and ample parking. A THRC manager remains on the premises to assist guests as needed.

Tanyard Hollow Retreat Center, among the nation’s newest retreat offerings, is only a 2-hour drive from Nashville and just over a 3-hour drive from Memphis. To find out how you can reserve time for your next meeting, workshop or retreat, visit www.tanyardhollow.com, or call the Tanyard Hollow Manager at 931-589-2298.
