Hot New Fishing Lure Now Available from Crazy Fisherman

June 8, 2008 - PRLog -- The Crazy Fisherman Company announces the release of a hot new fishing lure for sale through their online store. They first learned about the lure, called a Steelshad, in February of 2007 from an article in Bassmaster Magazine and decided to put it to the test. A representative from Crazy Fisherman invited Blake Gills, veteran lure designer and creator of the Steelshad, to join him for an outing to get some first-hand experience. They fished for a day at Lake Rathbun in southern Iowa and have been sold on the Steelshad since.

What makes the lure so effective and versatile is the swimming motion of the lure combined with the variable depths that can be fished. It can be fished at almost any depth depending on the speed of the retrieve. The lure can be bent slightly one way or the other to make it swim partially on its side and to the right or left like a wounded baitfish. During the testing excursion, they caught six different species on the Steelshad. The lure is available in five color designs.

Captain Steve Niemoeller, a professional fishing guide located in central Florida, has also tested the Steelshad and recommends it to all of his clients. Captain Niemoeller sells about 100 Steelshad per month just to his clients after they have had a chance to fish with it. It catches all types of bass, walleye, northern pike, trout, and many other freshwater species as well as most saltwater fish.

“It has taken some time to work out the details and produce enough inventory to prepare for the official release on Crazy Fisherman,” states Lauren Delpesce of Crazy Fisherman.  “However, as of last week we have everything in place and inventory is being sent to fishermen across the United States.”
