June 8, 2008 - PRLog -- Doing E-learning has released its third e-learning podcast, "The E-learning Project: A Vendor Management Checklist", available now at www.doingelearning.com

Doing E-learning is headed up by Keith Landsborough and Dominique Lowenthal, who have over 20 years' experience between them in technology assisted learning. They believe there is a need for a regular podcast for people in organisations wanting to benefit from e-learning.

"You can find a lot of information on how you select an e-learning vendor, but there's not much to find when it comes to helping you have a successful experience working with them." said Dominique.

Keith and Dominique discuss a simple way to keep on top of risks to your e-learning project. By breaking an e-learning project down into several core areas to track during three simple stages of a project it's clear most issues that could emerge can be stopped in their tracks simply by asking the right questions and acting accordingly.

"What's great about this topic is that it lends itself to a simple checklist - one that can save you an awful lot of headaches. This e-learning podcast is ideal for people in organisations who have appointed an e-learning vendor and are about to embark on an e-learning project - but will also prove invaluable to those thinking of doing e-learning, or currently involved in working with a vendor to supply e-learning." added Keith.

The 50 minute podcast also comes with a free E-learning Vendor Management Checklist to use at each stage of your project. "This is essential to have at hand - if you forget to cover just a few of these points you're more likely than not to find your project hitting some sticky times." warned Keith.

Dominique concluded, "We'd love to hear back from people on the checklist so that we can add to it and build on it - and once we're happy we've got it as effective and as comprehensive as it needs to be, we'll release it into the public domain."

The Doing E-learning podcasts are released twice a month, providing information and guidelines that HR, Training, and Learning & Development professionals can act on today. Future suggestions for podcasts are welcomed by the Doing E-learning team.
