A group of inner city young adults who has connected with family who lives on Cecil Ave. in Baltimore city, will help their Family, Friends, and neighborhood to heal from the lost of fourteen  of their neighbors who died in may in a fire last year.
The young men, Samuel Queen, Ronald Saunders, Keith Hutchins and Leroy Grawtney have formed a positive rap group called H&N. The group was formed to show youths that they can have positive influences in their communities instead of a negative one. One of the young men, 20 year old Samuel Queen, who formed the group, has graduated from Test College with a degree in Computer Science.
He stated," Drugs and crime didn't interest him at a young age. But education and changing his community was. Other members in the group has followed in his footsteps, Keith and  Leroy, Both age seventeen, have committed to graduating high school and going to college themselves. '' This group, H&N which stands for Harford and North Avenue" Ronald Saunders
(21yrs old) says, " has many members who have committed there selves to the same thing to uplift their communities. It became a rap group after Sam started recording in his home as a means to keep his younger cousins (Keith and Leroy) interested in school and off the streets, by providing them with an outlet for their problems using rap. It would be taken to the next level when a more experienced rapper and family member Ronald would show them how to hone their skills and form a professional looking and sounding group.

Since then, they have performed at local shows, such as Afram AKA African American heritage festival, and last year at the first showcase benefit for their community members who died in the fire.
Through their positive raps and influences, they have been able to meet positive people who have made an impact on their lives, people such as Gov. Martin O'Malley, Mayor Sheila Dixon, former Gov. Robert Urlich and Council woman Jill Scott.

They will perform once again on Cecil Ave. in remembrance of the fallen fourteen they all, the community, miss so dearly.
