Heroes Quest 2008 PlayBasic Game Making Competition

Underware Design are proud to announce the launch on 1st June 2008, of their third amateur video game programming competition, titled "Heroes Quest".
 
June 2, 2008 - PRLog -- BALLARAT, VIC AUSTRALIA : UNDERWARE DESIGN, an internet based software developer focusing on video game development tools, announced the beginning of their third video game making contest, titled "Heroes Quest",


Underware Design are proud to announce that their third amateur video game programming competition, titled "Heroes Quest" will launch on June 1st, 2008. The competition requires participants design and create their own computer video game using the PlayBasic software. A computer video game development language for Windows computers.

Thematically, contestants are required to design and create their own action hero character and quest. Designers may choose between two primary quest objectives, those being Treasure Hunter and Rescue the Princess.   The finished game will allow players to control the hero character, guiding them running, jumping, sliding through the game world to obtain the quest objective.   Judges will be rating submitted games across four primary categories.   Covering the games playability and fun factor,  sounds and graphical presentations as well any technical achievements.
