Following the keynote address will be a moderated panel discussion with a Q&A format. Infrastructure 2008 is the second of the Urban Land Institute’s annual reports on international infrastructure. Last year’s report focused on broad issues facing countries and regions globally while this year’s update focuses on the importance of infrastructure to a city or a country’s economic competitiveness. The report also examines issues related to the funding of infrastructure. Funding will become increasingly important as the United States heads towards the next iteration of the Highway Trust Fund.
