Could the Next Miss Hooters Australia 2008 be Australia's Next Top Model?

May 19, 2008 - PRLog -- Hooters Australia today confirmed it will host three rounds of their annual beauty and bikini Hooters Honey Contest at each of their Australia restaurants to crown Miss Hooters Australia 2008 kicking off next Thursday (22 May) at Hooters Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast.  

Up to ten top Hooters Girls will compete in each round for their chance to win a place at the Hooters Honey Contest Grand Final at Hooters Parramatta on Thursday 5 June 2008.

Each Hooters Honey Contest round will consist of two heats; the Hooters Girl Uniform model heat and the Hooters Girl Bikini model heat.  Each Hooters Girl will be scored on a pre-set judging criteria by a panel of judges including Luttsy from The Footy Show, NBL player Michael Hill and NRL players Christopher Walker, Daniel Conn and Josh Graham.

“We’re very excited to be hosting our annual Hooters Honey Contest once again and are confident this year is going to be even bigger and better than last year due to the level of interest and bookings we’ve already taken” says Julia Bayley, Marketing Manager of Hooters Restaurants Australia “we’ve got a fantastic group of Hooters Girls in our company, who are keen to enter the contest for their chance to be crowned the coveted Miss Hooters Australia title, its just a shame we can’t crown all of our Hooters Girls”.  

The Hooters Girl crowned Miss Hooters Australia will be flown to Miami Florida to compete in the 12th Annual Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant in July.  Miss Hooters Australia will compete against 120 Hooters Girls from around the world to win the Miss Hooters International title and over USD $150,000 in cash and prizes, including their place in the annual swimsuit calendar.

Hooters Mermaid Beach, Hooters Parramatta and Hooters Cronulla the newest restaurant in the Australian chain join more than 435 locations worldwide in over 24 international countries.  Hooters Australia is scheduled to open restaurants in Perth WA, Brisbane QLD and Auckland New Zealand by the end of 2009.
