Nicho and Micah begin their journey by meeting with an oracle named Shia, who in turn introduces them to a wise and ancient yarnie cat named Boheall. The feline tells them that they must first find Teresia in the Dryas Forest, for it is she who will guide them through the next stage of their journey. After being chased through the forest by hungry carnivores, they successfully locate Teresia, and she leads them through yet another unfamiliar cave. They soon exit onto a dark, dismal beach, only to find themselves on the edge of an ominous and dangerous lake that is bordered by a gray, gloomy coastline. In the distance they hear growling, unseen creatures in the fog-filled shadows. To their dismay, the boys discover that the mysterious blue amulet, the Dragon’s Tear, is hidden somewhere in the middle of the lake in a place called the Castle of Tears. Will the brave, young boys succeed in finding this very important second amulet, the only one to have fallen into an evil sorcerer’s hands? If they are able to find it, can they retrieve and return it to the dragons without becoming victims of their own incredible adventure? And whose evil eyes are watching them along the way? Dragon’s Tear is the third book in the Denicalis Dragon Chronicles series, written for young adults ages 8-15. The other books in this series are Dragon’s Blood: Denicalis Dragon Chronicles – Book One and The Prisoner: Denicalis Dragon Chronicles – Book Two.
