May 13, 2008 - PRLog -- Pharma Supply, Inc. (“Pharma”) and National Home Respiratory Service, Inc. d/b/a Diabetic Support Program ("Diabetic Support"), which sell blood glucose meters under the brand name "Advocate," deny in full all claims asserted against them in a recent lawsuit initiated by Diagnostic Devices, Inc. ("DDI").  Pharma and Diabetic Support intend to show that the companies' purchases and sale of Advocate brand meters were entirely proper and not in violation of any of DDI's rights, and that the lawsuit will not prevent Pharma or Diabetic Support from marketing, selling or distributing the Advocate brand meters.

Moreover, Pharma has filed a Counterclaim against DDI alleging that DDI engaged in false advertising and unfair trade practices by representing to the public that certain of its "Prodigy" brand blood glucose meters, including the "Autocode" and "Voice," were approved by the FDA at a time when, in fact, they were not.  Pharma alleges that these misrepresentations were misleading to the public and harmful to Pharma, and has requested an award of monetary damages.
