LONESOME TRAVELER BLUEGRASS BAND
RELEASES ‘LISTEN TO THAT SOUND’
Loveland, Colorado—The Swing Station in LaPorte, Colorado will be host to the Lonesome Traveler Bluegrass Band CD release party on May 23, 2008 at 9 pm. The band is celebrating the April 2008 release of their second project, “Listen To That Sound”.
The 2007 2nd place winners of RockyGrass and Telluride Bluegrass Band contests follows up on their success of last summer with a new CD featuring 9 original tunes and 4 carefully chosen cover tunes. Aaron Youngberg (The Billy Pilgrims, Hit & Run Bluegrass) of Swingfingers Recording Studios in Ft. Collins recorded and produced the CD, as well as the band’s self-titled 2006 release. Jan Peterson, CD reviewer for the Colorado Bluegrass Music Society’s monthly publication, Pow’r Pickin’, has this to say about ‘Listen’ - “These folks really put their hearts into the music, and … are totally invested in this CD. The songs are about life’s ups and downs. They draw you in and tug on your emotions. They play with you. They draw you up to soar along with the melodies. And they leave you wanting more.”
The new CD can be purchased at any Lonesome Traveler live concerts, online at http://www.cdbaby.com/
