Me & Ro and Luella Bartley Bring Nature to the Retail Touchpoint

Me & Ro, NYC, brings nature into the retail environment with a lily pond. Luella Bartley has ivy growing in the store window. Both hot brands are at the forefront of an emerging trend -- a convergence of nature and commerce.

May 12, 2008 - PRLog -- Me & Ro is on the cusp of a movement.

What is this movement?

As the broader ‘sustainability’ movement reaches the mass adoption phase, we’re starting to see elements from nature work their way into the retail aesthetic for brands whose focus is not necessarily nature – mirroring society’s desire for connection to the natural world. It’s a convergence of nature and commerce no longer exclusive to outdoor stores.

Me & Ro installed a lily pond in their front window - a living manifestation of their brand.

Robin Renzi, founder and CEO, said of the water feature, “water and flowers are so beautiful, powerful and peaceful all at once, and I wanted something special in the window, like a gift to people walking by”. And indeed, it is.

The new Luella Bartley store in the Mayfair district, London, has ivy growing in the front window - as a permanent feature.

Nicely done, ladies!
