Mottle.net Launches People Wiki Search Engine

First People Search Engine That Combines Social Networking, Wiki Editing, and Searching

May 10, 2008 - PRLog -- Bethpage, New York: Mottle.net - http://www.mottle.net - the first People Wiki Search, was announced today, for an expected launch date of June 1, 2008. It provides users with the ability to search and wiki edit profiles of themselves and others.

Similar to a traditional social networking site, users can create their own profile with pertinent social and career data.  Unique to Mottle, users can wiki edit the profiles of others as well, providing community feedback and verification of all data. Users can also create profiles about others, with important data verification and disputation features available for user protection.

Mottle.net Co-Founder Nathan Hallford commented that Mottle personalizes research data. “Search engines provide data that often has been collected from static sources on a user and may be inaccurate or out of context. Social networking pages on the other hand are set up and controlled by a user and have no peer review. Mottle enables personalized data presentation with peer review, similar to Wikipedia.”

Mottle is set to wikify social networking. Registration is free.
