Happy Trails: Hikers Set Sights High To Raise Money For Blood Cancer Research

Hike For Discovery participants join forces with local musicians, artists, and Bay Area businesses; fundraising event planned for May 10
 
May 5, 2008 - PRLog -- The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Hike For Discovery team will be hosting a fundraiser on May 10, 2008 at The Connecticut Yankee in Potrero Hill.  Entertainment includes music, an art show and auction, and raffling of items donated by Bay Area businesses.  The event begins at 10p.m.  Proceeds will go towards blood cancer research and patient services.

Event goers will get a "free beer" ticket with a $15 donation at the door.  Local band P-Hill will perform throughout the evening.  Other fundraising activities include an art auction of works donated by local artists and raffling of prizes.
