Larry has studied the greats in depth. Joe Pass one of his great inspirations for the ability to play the guitar solo and sound so rich and full bodied. Along with Joe Pass, is Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burrell, Barney Kessell, George Benson.

Larry continues to herald the styles of these great such as Joe Pass. George Benson has also become a mentor because of his great playing ability and his incredible singing that accompanies the guitar artistry have also give Larry the impetus to ad vocals to his amazing playing.
