May 2, 2008 - PRLog -- The Free Living Longer Forum Seminar provides critical information, education and insights designed to assist our maturing population to age more gracefully, comfortably and securely. Keynote speaker Jerry Hill, San Mateo County Supervisor, will highlight the myriad of services the county provides for its graying citizens. Over 40% of San Mateo County, CA is 55 years old or older and that number is expected to grow by more than 100% in the next decade. In total there will be 10 sessions provided by experts from organizations such as HIP Housing, Mission Hospice, Lifemark Group, Seton Coastside, Borel Trust Department, HomeInstead and the Social Security Administration. In addition there will be speakers addressing reverse mortgages, financial security and a wellness session with Qi Gong and meditation and more.

Portions of prior seminars in the series are on the web (LivingLongerForum.info ) and on television (4 times weekly on cable channel 26 PEN TV).  The content that will be featured is dedicated to serving the portion of the population that has traditionally been ignored by the media – the senior market. The focus of the entire series is to provide as broad a spectrum of reference information and knowledge for the diverse needs of the 55 and over populous and their caring family members.
